A beauty therapist by trade working at a tech company is a pretty foreign concept - one I never imagined I'd enjoy so much to be honest!
That being said, I'm now able to paint a picture from the data of our hair and beauty customers shows us and align it to the professional landscape and honestly, it's eye opening.
We're able to see trends of months typical for cancellations, months best for bums on beds and months which prove to be consistently great for retailing.
That insight is then shared through speaking at educational conferences like the one I spoke at on Monday for Salon First, which gives our industry the foresight to be able to better prepare and plan their businesses for the months ahead.
